Unique requirements of the LED display for HD remote video conference
The LED display for HD remote video conference is customized for these companies that the leaders of the companies need hold HD video conferencing remotely. In general, the LED display mainly shows the movements and expressions of participants and the performance of the conference venue. According to its basic requirements, it has the following main technical features:
- Small pixel pitch. The pixel pitch of the LED display must be small enough to provide very high quality images to represent the reality of the conferencing for each site of the participants, so the picture of the display should be clear, delicate and no grainy for very near viewing.
- High refresh rate. The data refresh rate of the LED display must be high enough to ensure no scan line is visible on the HD camera screen and on the other sides of the LED display.
- Soft picture with low brightness. The picture of LED display should be very soft with low brightness as the conferencing participants need to take a long time to view the display, otherwise too bright or hard picture will make the participants easily fatigued.
- Anti-glare. The surfaces of the LED display must be anti-glare. Especially when the lights of the conference room shine on the displays together, the display should be no glare to disturb the participants.
- No noise. All of the displays should work without any noise, so that the conference lecturers and the audiences are not disturbed.
- Long time running. The conferencing may take about 6 hours without any break once a time, so the functions and the status of the displays must be stable during the 6 working hours.
- Long lifespan. To maximize the benefit of the buyers, the LED displays must have a long lifespan of 5 to 8 years in general, or even longer.
- Excellent uniformity and stability for pictures. As the video camera of the conference is almost in still state during the conferencing, so the video image must be showed on the LED display evenly and stably.
Technical solution for HD remote video conference
Base on the above unique requirements of the LED display for HD remote video conference, our technical solution is as following:
- Using very small pixel pitch LED displays to provide very high quality images for the participants. Usually, the seat of participants is about 3 to 6 meters from the LED display, so we designed the pixel pitch of the display is about 3 mm to 6 mm. It has a range of PH3、PH3+、PH4、PH5、PH5+、PH6 etc.
- Using especial controller and driving ICs to guarantee the data refresh rate at least 1000 Hz high for the LED display, This high data refresh rate can ensure no scan line be visible on the HD camera screen during the conferencing.
- Choosing high brightness LED lamps with wide viewing angle, the LED display was designed to work in dynamic scan and low loaded condition. The benefit is that the brightness of the LED displays can be controlled in a soft level with wide viewing angle and energy-saving.
- Using special designed anti-glare mask on the surface of the LED display to eliminate the reflection of the conference lights, thus no glare from the LED display could disturb the participants.
- Ussing air conditioner to dissipate the heat of the display, so there is no noise of fans to affect the dialogue of participants.
- Using constant current LED driving ICs with current gain control, the light decay of LED lamps can be controlled to maintain a stable brightness, the brightness and power consumption can also be automatically adjusted according to ambient light. These technical measures will keep the LED display working stably and brightness adjustable to prolong the lifespan and energy-saving.
- using our pixel by pixel brightness and color correction technique, the brightness and chrome of the LED display can be adjusted onsite through a period of time. This measure can keep the continuous uniformity of the brightness and chrome of the LED display and ensure the LED display working in good conditions for a rather long time.
- Using switch power supply with PFC (Power Factor Correction) to improve the efficiency of the power supply, this will produce less heat and ensure energy saving.
