Leopardstown Racecourse Redeveloped with LianTronics Outdoor LED Wall

Leopardstown Racecourse is around the corner to finish its third phase of redevelopment recently. LianTronics outdoor LED wall has joined the project to modernize the new building of the Racecourse.

Leopardstown Racecourse, located around 8km south of Ireland’s capital Dublin, is one of the best racecourses in the country, holding multiple world-class races all year round including National Hunt and Flat racing. Completed in 1888, the time-honored Racecourse has set to redevelop since 2013 to enhance the racing experience at Leopardstown.

The newly installed LianTronics LED wall stands on the top of the entrance building in front of the parade ring, broadcasting the race schedule and real-time breathtaking moments of horse racing. This LED screen has featured fully water-proof modules to strongly resist changing weather, whose backshells are totally enclosed to allow the panel to achieve high protection of IP65 and to be assembled into seamless large walls even without overall wrapped frames in harmony with the building’s facade. The ultra-thin and slim displays support both front and rear serviceability and carry aluminum cooling fins to obtain excellent heat dissipation for stable operation all the time. Its low-latency performance in 160-degree wide views is ultra-friendly for the live broadcasting of the races.

It’s worth mentioning that this is not the first time for LianTronics LED walls to be installed in racecourses. As long ago as 2011, LianTronics 117sqm outdoor LED wall had settled into Porin Ravit Racecourse, Finland. Its excellent outdoor survival capability allows the screen to withstand extreme temperature and perform well.
