OVERVIEW
Located in Manama, the capital of Bahrain, the Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre (BIECC) is one of the Middle East’s premier exhibition destinations and a landmark project in the Kingdom’s economic development.
To support the venue’s global positioning, LianTronics delivered three large-format LED displays totaling 726㎡, including two naked-eye 3D corner screens and one flat LED display. Installed at the entrances of the venue’s main buildings, the displays have become a striking digital landmark, serving as a platform for event information, advertising, and city branding.
Project Challenges
1、Limited load-bearing capacity: No solid load-bearing walls at installation spots, requiring lightweight cabinet design. 2、Extreme harsh desert climate: Intense direct sunlight, frequent sandstorms and ambient temperature up to 50℃. 3、Tight construction timeline: Local client required full installation and commissioning within one month ahead of opening ceremony.
