OVERVIEW
On August 30, 2022, Alaraby TV launched its new headquarters in Lusail, Qatar. Founded in 2015 and relocated from London, the prestigious Arabic media outlet offers premium news, political, cultural and entertainment content for global Arabic audiences.
To meet its high-standard studio upgrade requirements, Alaraby TV selected Liantronics after rigorous competition. Liantronics deployed over 430㎡ of fine-pitch LED displays, completing Qatar’s largest LED studio screen project. This project represents another landmark success for Liantronics in the global broadcast industry.
Project Challenges
The flagship studio project presented key technical and construction challenges: 1. Custom Multi-form Screen Structure. Dual functional studios required curved, rectangular and movable splicable screens to fit diverse shooting scenarios and interior layouts. 2. Broadcast-grade Visual Demands. Live news production requires flicker-free, high-consistency color performance to support professional camera capturing and live broadcasting. 3. 24/7 Stable Operation. Non-stop live programming demands zero-fault, high-durability display performance for long-hour continuous operation.

The solution integrates a large curved background wall, 23 sets of rectangular side screens, and three rail-mounted movable curved screens. The movable screens support free movement and seamless splicing, greatly improving program shooting flexibility.
